Farmer’s Market coming to Austin Landing in June
Posted Friday, April 24, 2015MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Austin Landing announced when it will open its Farmer’s Market.
We first told you about the plan to open one on Five on 2. Developers say the first produce will go up for sale in June.
The Market at Austin Landing will offer organic produce, but also seasonal and specialized products from local producers.
“Browsing booths for local produce, choosing a bouquet of flowers grown nearby, and enjoying free entertainment is a really nice way to spend a summer morning. We’re so glad that we’ll be able to provide this service for our community,” said Tracey Pate, The Market Manager.
The market will be open on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. until noon, June through October.
It will be located in the event space next to the public park.
“A farmer’s market is a natural addition to Austin Landing. The beautiful public park and active bike hub, adjacent to where the market will be held, is the perfect complement to the relaxed and festive market atmosphere,” Miami Township President Doug Barry said.
