Austin Landing # DoSomethingGood Volunteerism Awards 

To go along with our #DoSomethingGood movement, Austin Landing has nominated two people that greatly impact not only Austin Landing but the surrounding community for 2017. There are two different awards that Austin Landing feels are important to acknowledge: The Community Impact Award and the Good Samaritain Award. We are asking for your inquiries on who you believe best fits these awards for 2018. Please submit your nominations to: marketing@austinlanding.com by November 26th, 2018.

The Austin Landing Community Impact Award

Austin Landing Community Authority would like to annually recognize a select individual that has been a leader in the Austin Landing Community, helping many local nonprofits, and assisting in multiple charitable events and activities.

Each year the community will have the opportunity to nominate an individual that have illustrated the acts of selflessness, community service to multiple non profits in the area, and willingness to serve others in the community above and beyond their statue of expectations .

How to apply for the Austin Landing Community Impact Award

To identify this outstanding individual, Austin Landing conducts a nomination process through which community members can recommend qualified candidates. Currently, Austin Landing is accepting nominations for this prestigious award for 2019. Below are the criteria outlining the characteristics expected of our Community Impact nominee. 

Criteria for Nomination

  • Nominee must show examples of dedication and service for multiple community and non profit efforts in the Austin Landing Community.
  • Nominee must be an individual or couple
  • Nominee must work in some capacity in coordination with the event programming at Austin Landing
  • Nominations may be made by an individual or an organization with knowledge of the nominee’s service
  • Nominee must demonstrate dedication to servicing their community and local non profits
  • Nominee has a passion for helping others achieve their goals
  • Nominee as a higher level of standards if integrity and shows true grit in times of trial
  • Nominee must demonstrate courage and compassion in his/her actions and deeds
  • Nominee’s commitment must be performed outside the context of the nominee’s paid employment
  • Preference will be given for longevity of service. Additional letters of recommendation in support of the nominee are encouraged
  • Nominee must always be willing and able to work on Plan

The Austin Landing Good Samaritan Award

Austin Landing Community Authority would like to annually recognize a select individual that is exemplary in supporting a specific charity or cause within the Austin Landing Community.

Each year the community will have the opportunity to nominate an individual that have illustrated the acts of leadership, volunteer initiative behavior, and kindness for others as it relates to the Austin Landing community with the Good Samaritan Award.

How to apply for the Austin Landing Good Samaritan Award

To identify this outstanding individual, Austin Landing conducts a nomination process through which community members can recommend qualified candidates. Currently, Austin Landing is accepting nominations for this prestigious award for 2019. Below are the criteria outlining the characteristics expected of our Good Samaritan nominee. 

Criteria for Nomination:

  • Nominee is exemplary in supporting a specific charity or cause within the Austin Landing Community
  • Nominee must be an individual or couple
  • Nominee must work in some capacity in coordination with the event programming at Austin Landing
  • Nominations may be made by an individual or an organization with knowledge of the nominee’s service
  • Nominee must demonstrate dedication to improving the quality of life of others
  • Nominee must demonstrate commitment to the community, helping to make it a better place to live, work  and play
  • Nominee must demonstrate courage and compassion in his/her actions and deeds
  • Nominee’s commitment must be performed outside the context of the nominee’s paid employment
  • Preference will be given for longevity of service. Additional letters of recommendation in support of the nominee are encouraged
