Austin Landing has spent the last three years giving back to the community, and by giving back that means over $500,000.

The events program has 80 events a year that all benefit hyper-local nonprofits.

July’s First Friday Food Truck Frenzy had a record attendance of 5,500 people and broke another record by raising $65,000 in one night for Blue Skies for Good Guys and Gals.

“Austin Landing’s events program is one of the best in the region,” said Larry Dillin, President of Viscap Development.

“There is a huge emphasis on providing fun for our community as well as raising money for our nonprofits. We want to provide a variety of events that keep people in the community interested and provide fun for the entire family.”

Each year the Austin Landing events program has grown, and this year is no different. The events have hit record attendance.

Blue Skies for Good Guys and Gals is a nonprofit dedicated to serving Wounded Warriors and Gold Star families. They were the group chosen for our July First Friday Food Truck Frenzy for 2018. Little did they know they would break every record possible. Over 100 volunteers came out to help them make this all possible and together they raised a grand total of $65,000 in one night.

Austin Landing will also be hosting our nation's heroes and Gold Star families at the Hilton Garden Inn for Warrior Weekend 2018. There are many ways to get involved to be a part of the Austin Landing community.

Austin Landing’s August First Friday Food Truck Frenzy will benefit the Montgomery County Law Enforcement Memorial. This event will feature internationally known Michael Jackson Tribute band “Who’s Bad”.
