Austin Landing Cinépolis Dayton movie theater opens
Posted Tuesday, October 10, 2017The first Ohio site for Cinépolis USA is open at Austin Landing, and a grand opening celebration is planned later this month.
A grand opening date of Oct. 29 is scheduled for Cinépolis Dayton, a 12-screen premium movie theater that can seat 1,560 and will serve upscale food. The grand opening is in conjunction with Austin Landing’s Trick or Treat and Pumpkin Fest event.
The theater is open now for walk-ins and word-of-mouth customers, according to a company spokeswoman.
The $12 million project in Miami Twp. includes 52,750 square feet site that will have outdoor seating and serve beer, wine and signature cocktails, officials for the Dallas-based company have said.
It will join four South Florida cinemas as middle-tier Cinépolis USA sites. The six-year-old company offers luxury, premium and traditional theaters among its 16 locations in Southern California, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey and New York, according to its website.
